Our Story.
Ledges Inn is the lifetime project of Everett and Caroline Taylor.
It started in 1996, Everett and Caroline decided to build a first class fishing and hunting lodge on the Miramichi River. Coming from a family of outfitters (their children are the 7th generation on this land) it was a natural move for them. Noticing a gap in the local offerings they decided to cater to the fishermen and hunters who wanted to experience great fishing or upland bird hunting, but also wanted to stay in a less rustic environment than most lodges have to offer in New Brunswick.
So, the Ledges Inn was designed and built. Made with New Brunswick white cedar and nestled along the riverbanks, the Inn is both warm, cozy, and comfortable. A great deal of thought was put into the design of the inn itself, giving the Ledges a meeting room for small corporate retreats and meetings, 10 beautiful rooms all overlooking the Miramichi River, a private riverside dining room, and a Great Room to relax, unwind, and socialize.
The ultimate goal was to get people outside, into the woods and onto the water, to experience the way of life on the Miramichi- and they’ve been doing just that for 27 years!
